Petunia's Hero
As part of our overall mission, one of the things we at MARL are most proud of is our willingness to rehabilitate animals who may not otherwise be given a chance.
So when Petunia, a sweet but physically challenged pit bull came to us, we knew we needed some professional help. This six month old pup was born with a deformed leg and struggled just to walk and play.
Enter Petunia's Hero...Greg Greenway of Pros-Tech. When he heard about Petunia and her special needs he did not hesitate to donate a custom prosthetic. Petunia continues to do her part by dilligently practicing every day!
Thank you to Robin and Dennis Drury, Greg and the Pros-Tech team who help us do what we do best every day!
The Michigan Animal Rescue League's Kayla Allen was interviewed for a special Oakland Press feature titled "Many pets left without a home in bad economy".

Has the dog or cat that you adopted from MARL changed your life?
You changed their life when you brought them home and we know that they have returned the favor in their own special way. We want to hear your “tails” of inspiration, laughter, love and silliness. Send us your stories along with a photo of your four legged friend!
