There is usually always a dog at the shelter that I am head over heels crazy about,  usually they are busy, funny dogs that make me laugh.

My buddy Zeus is just that dog.  I pretty much spend most of my time with him when I am at the shelter.  He looks like a LARGE Boston Terrier, obviously came from a home that didn’t help him learn basic manners and is like an intelligent teenager that is aching for a job that will give him exercise and stimulation.  I say he needs a family that has about 5 teenagers that all love him and all want to play and work with him.

It was so nice snuggling in watching the snow yesterday.  I got up early, fed the dogs and bird, took the dogs out and cleaned the dog yard, (yes, I try really hard to keep the yard clean all year), played for an hour with the dogs until they were exhausted, read by the fire, played on the computer, what a wonderful day.  It is so nice to have a snow day once in awhile!!!!

That got me to thinking about all the dogs that are left outside in every kind of weather.  Today with this heavy snowfall, even dogs who have shelter are dragging wet snow into their house.  Can you imagine being cold and wet with no way to get warm and dry?

My wish for every dog is a place by the fire with a family who loves them. What a world that would be!!!!!!!!!
