Snow Storm 2010It was so nice snuggling in watching the snow yesterday.  I got up early, fed the dogs and bird, took the dogs out and cleaned the dog yard, (yes, I try really hard to keep the yard clean all year), played for an hour with the dogs until they were exhausted, read by the fire, played on the computer, what a wonderful day.  It is so nice to have a snow day once in awhile!!!!

That got me to thinking about all the dogs that are left outside in every kind of weather.  Today with this heavy snowfall, even dogs who have shelter are dragging wet snow into their house.  Can you imagine being cold and wet with no way to get warm and dry?

My wish for every dog is a place by the fire with a family who loves them. What a world that would be!!!!!!!!!

 

Everywhere I venture the last few days while talking to my dog owning and loving friends there is one common theme. “My dogs are driving ME CRAZY”. This cold winter weather has humans and canines alike hibernating in their nice warm homes. Unfortunately, our dogs still need to burn off energy no matter what the weather.
